Reading Diary

I’ve kept a personal journal since I read a few snippets of Virgina Woolf’s diaries. Her thoughts were so lucid and meaningful and, I confess, my own journals are much less level-headed and vivid as hers!

So I thought I would start a Diary for my Reading and share it with you, so we can read together, or even to provide inspiration for your next read. As if you TBR wasn’t long enough already…

Reviews

Most critics are unfair. They are, by nature, jealous of the artist’s accomplishment that so vastly outstrips their own and therefore can find nothing good in the work of art. Perhaps that is the artist point?

Whatever the case, I see myself as a reviewer, not a critic, but I do still refrain from revealing all. Join me, read along, but don’t take my word for it. You may find something absolutely unique that appeared non-existent to my gaze.

The best critic may seek rather to deepen its mystery
